Eight-month-old Irfan Ahmed, who traveled from Kushtia suffering from measles, has passed away while undergoing treatment. After being treated for five days at the DNCC Hospital in Dhaka, he was transferred to the Bangladesh Shishu (Children's) Hospital and Institute for advanced care. Although he was admitted to the ICU last Thursday, he breathed his last today. The death of little Irfan has left his relatives in deep mourning and inconsolable grief.

কুষ্টিয়া থেকে আসা হামে আক্রান্ত আট মাস বয়সী শিশু ইরফান আহমেদ ঢাকার ডিএনসিসি হাসপাতালে পাঁচ দিন চিকিৎসাধীন থাকার পর উন্নত চিকিৎসার জন্য বাংলাদেশ শিশু হাসপাতাল ও ইনস্টিটিউটে স্থানান্তর করা হয়। গত বৃহস্পতিবার তাকে আইসিইউতে ভর্তি করা হলেও আজ চিকিৎসাধীন অবস্থায় তার মৃত্যু হয়। ইরফানের মৃত্যুতে স্বজনদের আহাজারি।
